The police move out with more patrols to reports of a fight between two gangs of girls.

This is reported by the police in Agder.

Around 15 young girls will be involved.

One of the girls is said to have been kicked while she was lying down. When the police arrived, the fight stopped.

– It was more of an assault than a fight. Some of the girls had a more prominent role.

This is what operations manager in Agder police district Øyvind Hægeland tells Dagbladet.

– We eventually get in touch with two victims. No one should be injured. The patrol officers are in contact with the parents and are recording explanations, the police in Agder write on X.

When the police arrived at the scene in Kristiansand, someone else had intervened and stopped the fight.

Exactly how many girls were involved is currently somewhat uncertain. Two of the girls have the status of offended. In addition to this, there were approximately 10-15 girls involved.

The girls are from approximately 14 to 17 years old, the police say.

– Someone has been identified as being behind this. Those we are in contact with are below the criminal minimum age. They will be reported, and child protection will be contacted. We will contact parents and ask them to collect the girls, says Hægeland.

The incident must be filmed. The operations manager states that it will not be appropriate to arrest the girls who are behind it, due to their young age. But they will therefore be reported, and child protection will be contacted.

Among others, NRK has previously discussed a charged girl environment in Kristiansand, where girls as young as 13 hit and kick random victims, in order to create the most spectacular video possible.

– Do you see the incident in connection with the girl gang mentioned earlier?

– Yes, some of them are from the same environment, replies Hægeland.
