Press release from Citycon Norway 3 April 2024

Citycon has appointed Irfan Akram as the new center manager at Liertoppen, which is one of the region’s largest centres. Irfan will lead the work to further develop the service offer and store mix, so that Liertoppen continues to be an attractive center for retail, food experiences and services in the future as well.

Irfan Akram has been employed by Citycon since 2020 and is currently center manager for Stovner Senter. From 1 April 2024, Irfan is center manager for both Stovner Senter and Liertoppen.

– I am looking forward to starting in the role of center manager at Liertoppen. The center is one of the most important commercial areas in Buskerud, and an important part of the local community in Lier. Together with all the good people who work at the centre, I will continue the job of revitalizing the centre, says Irfan Akram, center manager at Liertoppen.

Over the past year, Liertoppen has been upgraded with newly refurbished Meny and Mester Grønn. In addition, Kicks has opened in new premises, while the establishment of the Leketoppen play area is a new offer for the children who visit the centre. Europris and b.young are upgrading and expanding their stores during the spring.

– We have high expectations for the development at Liertoppen. At the same time, we strongly believe that Irfan Akram is the right person to take the center into the future. We already know Irfan well, and he has the qualities needed to further develop Liertoppen together with the fantastic team at the centre, says Håkon Tuv Dalland, director of property management at Citycon.
