On Saturday evening at 22:10, the emergency services responded to a report of a violent incident in Skien.
A person must be injured.

There should not have been any danger to the surroundings.
Operations leader at the scene, Ståle Fuglaas, says that it will turn out to be an incident of violence where there is talk of the use of stabbing weapons.
– Shortly after the first police patrol arrived at the scene, they took over an injured person from witnesses here. He was stabbed with a sharp object, at least twice, and has been taken to the emergency department in Skien, says the incident leader.

There is control over both the weapon and the perpetrator. The police have interviewed witnesses both at the scene and at the police station.
– We have brought in the most central witnesses for questioning inside.
The background to the incident is currently unknown, but the violent incident is said to have taken place outdoors, linked to a youth party.
On the night of Sunday, the police update that a knife has been used.
– A man in his 20s has been arrested and charged with stabbing a man in his late teens. The victim is being examined and treated at the hospital, says the operations manager.
The case has been reported and the police have started an investigation.
