The Golden Route, Danby Choi | Danby Choi was absent from the Gullruten: – Must have been partying on the wrong day

GRIEGHALLEN, BERGEN / OSLO (Nettavisen): On Saturday, the stage was set for one of the year’s major events, the Golden Route, where several of the country’s biggest celebrities gathered to celebrate.

Ahead of the awards, the red carpet was rolled out, and several of the nominees took the time to talk about the last TV year that has been.

However, when the participants from the TV 2 hit “The Game” arrived at the award ceremony, one of the reality participants was not present, namely Danby Choi (30).

– Very drunk

Choi was scheduled to be present at the award ceremony to represent the TV 2 program with several of the participants, but informs Nettavisen that he had to cancel just before the event got off the ground.

– I must have misunderstood. Is the Gullruten today? I looked at the clock past midnight and must have been partying on the wrong day, writes Choi in a text message to Nettavisen.

– Today I am very sick with a hangover and will stay in the hotel room until further notice to protect other nominees from vomiting, he adds together with a photo proof of yesterday’s intake.

In the days before the Golden Route, Choi has attended the media conference, Nordic Media Days, and thus there have been a number of late evenings with colleagues from the media industry.

– Not a “one-man show”

Choi and the rest of the contestants have created such good TV content that they were nominated on Saturday night in the category “Best competition-driven reality”.

If Choi fears missing out on a possible prize tonight, he replies as follows:

– Fortunately, “The Game” is not a “one-man show”. Victoria, Line, Steffen, Anette and Erik represent us well there tonight. They should land this one, if not – and anyway – I’ll throw up!

When Nettavisen met the remaining “Game” participants ahead of the award ceremony, they did not hide that they were excited about the evening’s award ceremony.
