Tise Awards, Tise | Came in a custom-made dress: – Was far too short

--

CARLS / OSLO (Nettavisen): On Thursday evening, the very first Tise Awards will be held in the capital, where sustainable fashion and reuse will be honored with an award ceremony.

Among the nominees in the ten different categories are artist Astrid S, Emma Ellingsen, Fetisha Williams, and the fashion collective Fæbrik.

The case is updated!

Appeared heavily pregnant on the red carpet

It is expected that several big profiles in fashion, culture and the influencer industry will appear at the award ceremony, and some of those who made the trip to the popular nightclub in Oslo are some of the Fæbrik girls.

Jenny Skavlan tells Nettavisen that this award ceremony is important, and she hopes that the spotlight can be directed at those who raise their voices about recycling and the importance of this:

– It hasn’t been many years since the influencer started talking about reuse and how to live in a more sustainable way, and you haven’t had that arena until now. We want to pay tribute to those who make conscious choices and I think it is very important that they are seen.

Another Fæbrik member who stepped up on the red carpet is heavily pregnant Ingrid Vik Lysne.

She tells Nettavisen that the due date is a few weeks away, but she feels that the birth is very close:

– I feel like I’m going to give birth at any moment, she says, laughing.

Had to take care of my clothes

Influencer and TV profile Øyunn Krogh also made the trip, she is nominated and she is very happy to be part of this award ceremony:

– It feels very good to be nominated. If there is one award ceremony that it would have been awkward not to be a part of, it would be the Tise Awards, says Krogh.

She goes on to say that she has high expectations when it comes to the evening’s outfit, and she hopes to see a number of “freaky” outfits than you usually see. Krogh is a big fan of reuse, and she has put together a special outfit for the occasion.

But it didn’t go quite as planned:

– I “thrifted” a dress that looked a bit silly, and I cut it far too short. I always underestimate it. So I had to sew some things at the bottom, says Krogh and laughs.
