Artist, film director and writer Aune Sand (58) is known for being a man of many words.

The last thing he does is hide his feelings, and he showed that when he recently guested on Martin Lepperød’s (31) podcast “Kladden har dævva” on NRK.

Fire damage during television recording

Lepperød’s podcast is a humor podcast about death. Despite a lot of humor, there was also some seriousness on the part of the artist.

– I’m actually a little ashamed every day, maybe. I should work harder, I should think less of myself, I should be stronger, I should be braver, I should raise my voice much more often, I should speak up when I see injustice. I think about that every single day, he says in the podcast.

Sand says that he has a lot of vitality in him, and a great desire to show joy, love and care. Nevertheless, it is not everywhere in life that he is able to give one hundred percent.

Cheers mom

– To go out more and open up more on a stage, in front of a camera, is a dream, to show even more of myself, zest for life and energy. It is a loss, and I think about it more and more as I approach 60 years of age. Until now, I have thought that I don’t have to show that I have that life force in me.

When asked if he has a place in his life where he can be “on” one hundred percent, the reflective 58-year-old replies:

ARTIST: Artist Aune Sand will explain why he chose to withdraw from “Torpet”. He does so in true “Aune” fashion.

– Yes, with my mother, my children, my family and on the beaches in Jæren. Because my mother comes from Jæren, so I feel like a Westerner. On the beaches at Jæren, I really feel free.

Furthermore, Sand explains that he also feels free when he is allowed to work with expressions, such as when he made a song with two friends, and when he was allowed to take part in “Shal vi danse”.

Dagbladet has been in contact with Aune Sand, who has no opportunity to comment further.
