Details about the continuation are not clear, but now the series creators have released some hints about where the road goes next.

In an interview with GQ, series producers Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet were asked, among other things, questions about New Vegas. The desert city barely appears towards the end of the first season, which many have interpreted as a foreshadowing of the setting for season two.
Wagner was hesitant to reveal too much, but hinted that the series will be heading to the gambling capital.
– It would have been strange if we went to New York after that.

However, those who have played Fallout: New Vegas should not expect the city to be exactly the same. The TV series takes place 15 years after the events of the game, and a lot has changed.
“All we really want viewers to know is that things happened, so there’s not an expectation that we’re going to continue the series in season two and move on from one of the many different endings that depend on your choices in the game,” Wagner said. and continued:
– The world has moved on, and the thought of the wasteland remaining as it is for decades after decades is completely unthinkable to us. It is a place characterized by constant tragedies, incidents and atrocities, where trauma repeats itself over and over again. We’re definitely suggesting that more has happened.
Furthermore, the duo confirmed that there will be more flashbacks to what happened before the atomic bombs fell in 2077. Among other things, the team plans to reveal more about the Vault-Tec meeting in the last episode of the season, and the question of who actually bombed who first.
– We have more history to tell. In any case, I wouldn’t interpret anything as a definitive answer because, again, everything we see is very subjective. That scene happened, but what happens between then and when the bombs fall — there’s more exciting things planned between that moment and the last moment, I guess, Wagner said.
Amazon has not shared details about when production on the next Fallout season will begin.
