In February 2023, the news came that the famous American actor Bruce Willis (69) had been diagnosed with Frontotemporal dementia.
Just barely a year before the dementia diagnosis became known, Willis had been diagnosed with aphasia – a language disorder resulting from disease or damage to the brain.
Publishes a book about the diagnosis
Now his daughter Rumer Willis (35) provides updates on her father’s condition.
– He is doing very well, she tells Extra.
Rumer also says that she and her daughter had recently visited her father.
– It was very nice to see him with my daughter, and that we get to show our love for him, says the 35-year-old.
– Lucky to have you
Rumer also wishes to express his family’s gratitude for all the support they have received since Bruce was diagnosed.
– Our family, especially my sisters and I, are so grateful for all the love everyone shows him. I feel it shows so clearly who he was, says the daughter.
Rumer reveals to Fox News that what pleases her the most when she talks about her father and his new life with the disease is how incredibly loved he is.
Hoping for a miracle
In addition, the daughter says that she hopes that their experiences can be a kind of comfort or hope for others who are going through something similar, and that this is what matters most to her.
