Best and worst from influencer Norway: April

--

Finally spring in influencer-Norway!

No, we went toe-to-toe during the spring, and it’s lovely to have summer already.

This is the column where I – who am more than moderately interested in influencer Norway – summarize what has happened since the last time. I deal with some of what I have taken with me and think has been most exciting in the previous month. For better or worse.

In other words, you can stay up to date on much of what is happening in influencer Norway via this column.

Have you seen anything I haven’t included here that you wish I covered? Or do you have tips for influencers I should follow?

Please send an email to [email protected].

Let’s get started!

Offspring of the month: Sophie Elise has given birth to <3

It is probably not just Sophie Elise Isachsen and her boyfriend Vegard who have been waiting for this to happen.

The joy was great for many when, on the eve of the month, the northerner could share that she has become a mother.

Congratulations to all three!

Reality of the month: Love Island and The bloggers

It’s no secret that we love a good bit of reality?

Love Island is finished for this time, and it may look like several people have found love.

At least the winning couple, Henrik and Elisabeth, have. They are CUTE!!!

Another good news is the new cast The bloggers!

It must soon be one of the Norwegian series with the most seasons, right?

In any case, we get season 20 (!) in the autumn. There we get to see several new, very good faces.

Out go Linnea Løtvedt, Marna Haugen, Alexandra Joner and Sofie Karlstad.

Aurora Gude and Amalie Olsen will stay, and will be joined by Caroline Nitter, Tim Kristian, Hedvig Sophie Glestad, Fetisha Williams and Øyunn Krogh.

I devour every single season slavishly, but it’s been a long time since I’ve looked forward to a season and cast so much.

I think this is GOING TO BE SO FUN!

Comeback of the month: Kristine Ullebø

From fresh The bloggers-cast to one The bloggers-LEGEND.

It has been several years since we last saw anything of the Førde girl in public.

The last time she posted something on Instagram was the summer of 2021. Now we have three posts on the rap.

Two of them are to show off their new collaboration with Lois Jeans.

In the first, we read that she is coming back again with a collection collaboration with the jeans brand, which has been named “Take Care”.

I think it’s great to see Kristine again!

I hope she has had and is doing well, and that we will see a lot of her in the future.

Red carpet question of the month: Øyunn about Greenland

Øyunn is not only current with reality.

A little over a week ago, the first ever Tise Awards took place.

It was a great evening, where, among others, Fetisha Williams, Yunus Özkan, Leah Behn, Fæbrik and Jenny Gehrken won well-deserved awards.

On the red carpet, you often get questions that don’t necessarily have to have anything to do with the evening.

It also happened now, when Nettavisen wondered what it is like to live in Greenland after the serious events that have happened there recently.

The question they formulate to Øyunn Krogh, who has lived there for several years, is “What do you think of the mafia situation in Greenland?”

That made the cup run over for the Ås girl.

Øyunn Krogh does not want to create more stigma around Greenland (Instagram/oyunnkrogh)

She writes in an Instagram post that she loves her local environment, where she has lived for eight years. It is a neighborhood she believes consists of wonderful, local businesses, different cultures, religions and destinies.

“But the question I most often get from people who live outside Oslo is how I dare to live in Greenland. I understand why I get that question. Because if you read about Greenland in the media, it is exclusively scary and negative,” she writes further.

She goes on to write that she thrives there and feels safe, but of course acknowledges the growing youth crime, and that it is a big challenge and a real problem.

What she doesn’t appreciate is how she’s being framed for creating more fear than necessary with clickbait headlines.

I understand that very well, when it is such a vulnerable and large topic. As she writes, it will only create even greater differences and even more stigma.

And this on an evening where she just wanted to enjoy herself and promote sustainable fashion?

I understand this is a hot topic in the offices of Nettavisen and all other news outlets during the day. But it is also about where, when and who.

Thought provoking of the month: Leyla on diversity in the industry

In conclusion, I would like to include a TikTok video from one of 730.no’s own TikTok girls; Leyla Omar.

She brings up something so important, which I think both I and many others forget.

Namely the diversity in influencer Norway.

It has to be said that it has improved in the last couple of years, but often I think people could be even more aware.

A lot can probably be done by people cheering each other on even more. Leyla also mentions this as something they are better at in Sweden.

Not that you don’t do it at all here, and as I said, it has gotten much better both with cheering and diversity in general in recent years.

Do we remember when Krogh Optikk invited to a Fenty event, with only white influencers?

They hopefully learned from it, and I think Leyla’s video is a nice thought-provoking about how things can be in the future.

That’s all for now <3
