Anne Hathaway on unpleasant experiences in Hollywood.
The actress says that “chemistry tests” were common when she was new to the industry.
– In the 2000s – when this happened to me – it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with others to check out the chemistry.
Despite the rumours, this should not have been about the pain Princess on trial-the movies or Brokeback Mountain.
Anne Hatheway (born in 82), however, refers to one particular incident where she landed the lead role, and had to help test the chemistry with her male counterpart – who had not yet been cast.

– I heard: We have ten guys coming today, and you are already secured. Can’t wait to cuddle with them all?
The 41-year-old was – understandably – horrified by this.
– What’s wrong with me, I thought, because I wasn’t looking forward to it. I thought it sounded sickening.
Anne adds that this was a different time when such situations were perceived as normal.
– I pretended to be eager and agreed. It was just a very different time. Today we know better.
The Devil Wears Prada-however, the star does not reveal which film it is about.
Which immediately started the rumor mill online.
Most probably just hoped that it wasn’t about Anne’s Big Three’s aka The Devil Wears Prada, Princess on trial and One Day.

The princess Diaries 2 is also a triangle drama where Mia kisses two of her colleagues.
Now confirms Donna Morong – casting officer to Princess on trial 1 – that she has never experienced chemistry tests on set in her films.
Linda Lamontagne who worked with Anne during Get Real-era in the 90s also denies having witnessed so-called chemistry tests.
“I’ve been casting since Capital News in 1988 and have never had to get actors to play with each other to test chemistry,” Linda tells TMZ.
Brokeback Mountain can also – fortunately – be crossed off the list. Casting manager Avy Kaufman explains that Anne’s descriptions did not happen on their set.
Anne Hathaway is currently current in the romantic comedy The Idea of You based on yet another Harry Styles fanfiction.
