On 1 September 2024, SAS will leave the Star Alliance in favor of Skyteam. The bonus program Eurobonus will still continue.

Finnair now wants to give Eurobonus customers benefits with the company’s own benefit program, the airline writes on its own website.

New customers must join Finnair Plus and book a flight with the company to or from either the USA, Asia, Dubai or Doha.

There is a requirement that the flight must be booked by June 7 this year, and must take place between April 30 and November 30, according to the website.

Silver members in Eurobonus will receive benefits equivalent to Finnair Plus Silver, while gold and diamond members will receive benefits equivalent to Finnair Plus Gold.

Lufthansa has stated to Dagens Næringsliv that it will offer a “status match” to Miles & More, the company’s benefit program, to Eurobonus customers. If you have gold, silver or diamond status through EuroBonus, you will get the equivalent with Lufthansa’s Miles & More.
