The annual price increase ended at 68.5 per cent in March, compared to a growth of 67 per cent the month before, figures from Turkey’s statistics agency show.
Although the rise was somewhat less than what the markets had expected, it is still the fifth month in a row of increased inflation in Turkey.
At the same time, there is a slight decrease in price growth on a monthly basis, from 4.5 per cent in February to 3.2 per cent in March.
