– This is important to us and there is solid work behind it, says the agency manager at Schibsted Partnerstudio, Mikaela Folkestadto Campaign.

The content agency walks away with a total of seven nominations, including as best agency (over 20 employees), best use of video and best design in this year’s Native Advertising Awards (NAA). In addition, Folkestad itself has been nominated for the award as native marketer of the year.

– It is of course a given, says Folkestad.

– But I say like all athletes: Our success is a team effort.

– Shows that Norway is far ahead internationally
Schibsted Partnerstudio has a habit of distinguishing itself in the Native Advertising Awards. Last year too, the nominations poured in – and in the end the content agency won one gold, two silver and two bronze.

In June, Partnerstudio can secure honors and glory in the categories Best Use of Text, Best Design, Best Integrated Program, Best Use of Video, Best Use of AFP Web TV and Agency of the Year (more than 20 employees) with campaigns for Kondomeriet, Circle K, Pepsi and Telenor.

– These are campaigns that have generated a lot of engagement in our spaces and it’s fun to see that both the jury and our readers agree that this is really good content. There is solid work behind it and I am very proud of all the talented people and content producers who work for us.

NAA is an important recognition and is highly valued by Partnerstudio and Folkestad.

– First and foremost, the Native Advertising Institute is an important and capable organization that has full control of our industry, so their recognition means a lot. Here we compete with the best content studios in the world. Text is, and has always been, the core of what we deliver – so it is of course very important to us as an agency.

– At the same time, we think it’s great fun to see that we are also reaching out in many other disciplines, such as video and design. Partnerstudio’s aim is to be at the forefront of both content quality and innovation in new formats. Therefore, it is a great honor when we are now nominated in a number of different categories. This shows that we in Norway are far ahead internationally, she says.

– We are where we should be
And it is especially the nomination “Agency and the year” that is extra special.

– It reflects the entirety of the work we do. Should we come away with the victory here, it is a big victory for absolutely all the passionate people who work every day with us – from content producers to tech experts.

Last year, it was BBC Storyworks that was named agency of the year.

– And that speaks for itself, says Folkestad.

In June, Partnerstudio will travel to Denmark and hope for heavier luggage back home to Akersgata.

– The fact that we perform well in several different categories reflects the work we have done in recent years to be more than just a content agency. Today, we are the industry leader in the entire content universe – from text, podcast and content design to video and social media. Now we can’t wait to see how it goes in Copenhagen in June.

According to Folkestad, 2024 has started well.

– We are where we need to be in relation to our plans. Then we imagine that we will launch some new solutions that will create a very big effect for our customers. It doesn’t look bad at all.

Nevertheless, she does not want to revive the market just yet.

– It is still a bit uncertain, but I feel greater optimism now than a few months ago. We are ready to create good solutions together with our customers, and I find that there are many people who want to focus on branding with us.

Amedia Innholdsbyrå, which recently ran away with two golds in the INMA Global Media Awards, has two winning chances together with Helthjem and Lumene in this year’s NAA.
