It has received dozens of offers from people who want to take over the care of the horses that ran amok through Buckingham Palace Road in London, according to The Telegraph.

Now they are considering whether the horses may no longer be in service and whether they should be relocated, the newspaper writes.

It was on Wednesday that five people were injured after several royal horses were at large in central London. The riders, who were out for morning training, were thrown from their horses.

Several of the horses were bloody, and one of the horses is said to have run into a bus.

The Telegraph writes that, among others, The Horse Trust, an organization in Great Britain that takes care of retired service horses, has approached following the incident.

– If the decision is made that they should not return to work, we will always welcome them to our charity, director of The Horse Trust, Jessica Tallman, told The Independent.

The Telegraph has been informed by military sources that two of the horses cannot resume ceremonial duties.

– Takes the health of the horses seriously

One of the horses is in a bad condition, writes The Independent newspaper.

– We take the health and well-being of our military workhorses very seriously. They are well cared for, exercised daily and have round-the-clock access to world-class veterinary care, an army spokesperson told the newspaper.

The condition of the other animals must be good.
