Belarusian intelligence, the KGB, claims that the country has shot down several drones from Lithuania. This is reported by the state-run Russian news agency Tass.

KGB head Ivan Tertel claims that the alleged attack was aimed at Belarus’ capital Minsk. According to him, “a number of urgent security measures” have recently been carried out with precisely this in mind.

The dictatorship of Belarus is considered a puppet state for Russia.

– Will be apocalypse

A spokesperson for the Lithuanian army vehemently rejects the allegations and states that the country has not taken, or will take, hostile actions against other states, Reuters reports.

At the same time, Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko warns the West that it “will be an apocalypse” if Russia uses nuclear weapons to avenge Western support for Ukraine, Tass reports, as reported by Reuters.

Lukashenko points to how Western countries continuously monitor the conflict area from the air – both from planes and satellites.

– Belarus has observed up to 50 Western spy planes a week along our border, claims Lukashenko.

– Has moved forces

To Tass, the president says that Poland need not fear aggressive behavior from Belarus. At the same time, he states that the country has moved several combat-ready battalions from the city of Vitebsk to the Ukrainian border.

Lukashenko says that the danger of “incidents” happening there is high. He claims that 120,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been deployed near the Belarusian border.
