It was the 67-year-old Vivi Ann Dahl Sævik who was found dead at the water’s edge at Steinvika in Langesund on Monday morning.
Sævik was, among other things, a former journalist at NRK and Porsgrunns Dagblad.
The preliminary investigations do not indicate that there is anything criminal behind the death.
– She was a beloved employee at NRK. There she created a furore when she was the presenter of the country’s most watched and most popular program “Norge randt” in the winter of 1992-1993. Then she presented the cozy features from all over the country in a way that had hardly been seen in Norway before, writes Telemarksavisa in a commemoration of Sævik.
Furthermore, she is described as a phenomenon, an outgrowth of energy, creative invention and courage.
In her spare time, she was active in choir and revue, writes the newspaper.
