Wahlgren reports this himself on social media. On Instagram, she has shared a long post in tribute to her father, together with a video of him.
“Loved little daddy. Last night you fell asleep too well, after a period of illness. You have been so, so strong,” she writes at the beginning.
Hans Wahlgren lived to be 86 years old, and was himself a popular actor in Sweden.
“It hurts so terribly right now, and grief is public – but when you took your last breath, it was peaceful and one of the most beautiful things we’ve been part of. I lay next to you with your head against my chest, just like I did so many times as a child,” writes Pernilla Wahlgten, adding that Hans was surrounded by his family until the very end.
Bianca Ingrosso has also shared her grief on Instagram:
“Our dear Hasse. My beloved grandfather. Our best friend. Our safe haven. Loved by so many. I proudly tell everyone about you, so that everyone can get a dose of goodness”.
Both Pernilla Wahlgren and Benjamin Ingrosso have been seen in the Eurovision Song Contest this week. Pernilla in Thursday’s semi-final, and Benjamin in Tuesday’s.
