At 09.39 crime technicians are on their way to the scene.

It was the Lower Romerike fire and rescue service that was notified of a burnt-out car first, according to Romerikes Blad.

– We sent a car to the scene. When we arrived, there was no fire in the car. It was cold and the fire probably happened during the night. We assumed that there was a person in the car and therefore contacted the police, who took over on the spot, says duty manager Arne Nurmi in East 110 central to RB.

– The scene is currently frozen, says operations manager Ronny Samuelsen in the East police district to NTB.

He will not say whether they link the find to other cases in the district. The person has not been identified, and next of kin have therefore not been notified, says Samuelsen.

It is unclear how long the car has been there.
