Peace marking for Gaza in front of the Storting

The Church of Norway and over 80 organizations are organizing a peace demonstration for Gaza outside the Storting. Amnesty International Norway, the Joint Committee for Palestine, LO, Save the Children and Unio are among those participating. The marking begins at 2 p.m. followed by evening Mass in Oslo Cathedral. The peace marking takes place after almost 7 months of war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The fifth round in the Eliteserien is played

Seven games will be played in the Eliteserien’s fifth round on Sunday. Series runners-up Molde will be visited by Haugesund, while Brann will travel to Oslo, where YMCA will finally have its first elite league match at YMCA Arena in Ekeberg. The theme of the meetings is the situation in the Middle East, the way forward towards a two-state solution for Israel and Palestine and recognition of a Palestinian state. The meeting is organized in connection with the meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Riyadh.
