Former NFL player Korey Cunningham (28) has been found dead in his own home in New Jersey on Thursday. This is reported by several American media, including the news agency AP.
It must have been a family member who raised the alarm after he could not get in touch with the 28-year-old.
The death is under investigation, but no foul play is suspected.
Cunningham played for three NFL clubs during a five-year career, including the New England Patriots. The club has expressed grief on social media following the news:
