Yellow Jackets clinch series win vs. Ohio Dominican

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Lucas Rotello had three hits and Nathaniel Adkins notched his first win on the mound as Cedarville edged Ohio Dominican, 10-8, to gain a split of their G-MAC doubleheader.

The Panthers rolled to an 11-2 victory in the first game.

The Yellow Jackets won three-of-four games from ODU having previously swept their first meeting on April 13.

In the nine-inning nightcap, the home team rebounded from a 4-2 deficit by scoring in each of their final four at bats beginning with a three-run fifth inning.

Rotello doubled and scored twice. Max Doepker duck Kaden Shook each delivered two-run singles.

Adkins, 1-3, tossed the first five innings and struck out two batters.

A six-run second inning sparked Ohio Dominican in the opener. Caleb McKinion duck Brendan Colley had doubles for the Jackets.
