Resorts World One will be sailing from July 12 through August on a series of 14 two-, four- and five-night cruises to the Japanese islands of Kyushu and Okinawa. Ports include Kumamoto, Kagoshima, Sasebo and Nagasaki in Kyushu and Naha, Miyakojima and Ishigaki in Okinawa.

Earlier this month the company said the ship would be sailing from Hong Kong starting July 12.

Kaohsiung record

Last year’s deployment broke records for the port of Kaohsiung with the highest number of cruises (138) and passengers (199,000). It also brought more than 60,000 tourists to the Penghu Islands. Overall Resorts World said its 2023 deployment generated a tourism output value of approximately NT$1.6b (US$59m), contributing to the overall tourism economy growth.

‘We had created new milestones last year and together, we are confident to achieve greater heights this season,’ Resorts World Cruises President Michael Goh said.

Passenger amenities

One Resorts World One highlight is that it is the only cruise ship to home port in Keelung and Kaohsiung with a complimentary Chinese restaurant. The ship also claims the highest ratio of fluent Mandarin-speaking crew in cruising and it has Mandarin signage.

Itineraries

From Keelung, two-night Okinawa cruises will depart on Fridays to either Miyakojima, Ishigaki or Naha. Five-night cruises embarking Sundays visit three ports in Kyushu and Okinawa.

From Kaohsiung Resorts World One will operate two four-night Okinawa cruises to Naha-Ishigaki or Naha-Miyakojima and one two-night Ishigaki getaway.
