The 41-year-old was a guest on American NBC’s “The Today Show” on Monday morning together with actor colleague Nicholas Galitzine in connection with the film “The Idea of You”, which premieres on 2 May.
Hathaway attracted attention last week when she went out last week and said that she is a big fan of Martin Ødegaard’s club Arsenal.
Hathaway reportedly shouted “I love you” during an interview last week as Arsenal thrashed Chelsea 5-0. When Leandro Trossard sent The Gunners into the lead, the movie star burst into spontaneous cheers during another promo interview.
And in the middle of the interview with NBC’s “The Today Show”, Trossard appeared with a surprise when he appeared on the screen with a personal video greeting to Hathaway.
The Belgian said in the greeting that, among other things, he loved her celebration, which should have caused a slightly shocked Hathaway to react.

The actor’s colleague was also put out of the stunt.

Trossard has been an important contributor for Arsenal since his move from Brighton. Arsenal top the Premier League one point ahead of Manchester City, who have a game less to play.
Ødegaard’s team has three games left in the season.
