– Feyenoord and Liverpool are in talks and negotiating. I will wait and see what they will come up with. I have faith, and am waiting for them to come to an agreement, he continues.
It is expected that Liverpool will have to pay around 10 million euros to secure Slot. Feyenoord will finish second in this year’s season behind a PSV Eindhoven chasing the points record in the Eresdivisie, so the club has nothing left to play for after Sunday’s cup final. That must have been the reason why Liverpool waited to make their push.
