– It is not a big deal, but he is not ready, said Guardiola.
Haaland, like teammate Phil Foden, was not present at Tuesday’s training. However, Foden will be in the squad against Brighton.
The Norwegian was also not involved in this weekend’s FA Cup semi-final, which ended with a 1-0 victory over Chelsea. In the game before, the Champions League defeat against Real Madrid, the Norwegian had to go out with an injury.
Manchester City are in the lead in the Premier League and face Brighton on Thursday night. The light blues are four points behind Arsenal at the top of the table, but have two games to spare on the red shirts from London. Up to Liverpool in second place, the distance is one point with one game less played.
