Steigen, Traffic accident | The police confirm the nationality of the four people killed in the traffic accident in Steigen

It is VG who on Monday morning reports that the police have stated that the five in the car that drove in a tractor with a trailer in the Steigen tunnel on Sunday, were all part of a larger tour group from the Czech Republic.

Four of the five in the car died on the spot.

– All relatives have been notified. It is about a Czech travel companion, of which the five in the car were part, says operations manager Ivar Bo Nilsson, to VG.

Two other people have been transported to Nordland Hospital. One with critical injuries and the other with minor injuries.
