Oslo Børs opened up on Monday morning and has only continued upwards throughout the day. The main index stands at lunchtime at 1,380.79, up 0.69 per cent, and sniffs with it at a new all-time high. ATH intraday is 1,382.26 and closing price ATH is 1,376.17.

Norwegian Titanium climbs 9.84 per cent to NOK 2.79 on Monday, and has thus strengthened by 224 per cent in the last month. Finance profiles such as Arne Blystad, Tore Aksel Voldberg and Jan Haudemann-Andersen are now making their debut on the company’s shareholder list.

HAV Group announced on Monday morning that they have been awarded a contract for equipment deliveries to Havyard Leirvik. The value is NOK 200 million, and the share is strengthened by 8.24 per cent to NOK 9.72.

Otherwise among the winners climbs Archer 9.02 percent to NOK 1.14 before its scheduled earnings release on Tuesday.

TGS has been awarded a contract for an OBN survey by a customer in North America with a duration of over 6 months, and the share is now up 1.00 percent to NOK 121.20.

However, the oil service share is the stock exchange’s most shorted, and even the largest shareholder does not own as many TGS shares as the shorts combined.

Hexagon Purus was Friday’s rocket share with a rise of 33.1 per cent after record revenues in the first quarter. On Monday, there are probably many who want to take a profit, and the share now falls back 6.90 per cent to NOK 6.21.

Results season

The flow of first-quarter figures continues this week, but on Monday only a couple of companies have presented figures.

Among them we find Ground frost , which presented an operational operating result of 710 million Danish kroner in the first quarter. It was better than what the analysts thought in advance, but the share is still weakening and is now down 4.33 per cent to NOK 618.00.

Also Pexip exceeded the analysts’ predictions, and raised revenues by 12 per cent to NOK 292 million in the first quarter of the year. The share rises 0.87 percent to NOK 29.05.

The oil price

Oil prices are now recovering somewhat, after falling more than 7 percent last week.

The June contract for Brent oil is on Monday up 0.7 percent to 83.55 dollars a barrel, while WTI oil rises 0.9 percent to 78.82 dollars a barrel.

Saudi Aramco has raised the price (OSP) of Arab Light oil by 90 cents to $2.90 above the reference price. That’s more than Bloomberg’s expectations for a price increase of 60 cents.

In the Middle East, the Israeli military has begun the evacuation of civilians from Rafah. It could be preparations before a long-awaited attack on the city, and comes after ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas broke off at the weekend without a solution.

Equinor rises 1.44 per cent to NOK 302.40, while Aker BP climbs 1.85 percent to NOK 269.80. Our Energy gains 1.85 per cent to NOK 36.38.
