– Now only investigations and reports are to be finalised, says police attorney Ann Iren Svane Mathiassen in the South East police district to Hallingdølen.

She says the police are waiting for the toxicological tests, which can tell if the victims had anything in their blood when they were killed.

– There may be answers in these samples which means that we have to carry out new investigations. That is the reason why the home at Torpo has not yet been released, says Mathiassen.

She says the police are starting to get an idea of what happened before the murders.

– We want to be able to give the bereaved an answer as to how this could happen, she says.

They are also awaiting the final autopsy report, but don’t think it will provide any more answers.

The police believe they have control of the murder weapon, and Kripos is now investigating whether this was really the weapon that was used. In addition, Kripos is trying to establish whether a silencer was used, which the police have previously said they do not believe.
