Bloomberg writes that they have spoken to two Turkish officials, who are familiar with the matter. The information has not been officially confirmed.
The reason why Turkey wants to end cooperation with Israel is the war in Gaza, writes Bloomberg.
Israel’s foreign minister accuses Turkey of breaking agreements.
– This is how a dictator behaves, by overlooking the interests of Turkey’s people and businessmen and ignoring trade agreements, writes Israel Katz on X/Twitter.
In April, among other things, Reuters wrote that the Turkish authorities had introduced restrictions on the export of a wide range of products to Israel until a ceasefire is declared in Gaza.
The restrictions applied, among other things, to the export of steel, fertiliser, jet fuel and a number of other goods distributed among 54 different product categories.
Now it seems that Turkey will stop all trade with the country.
