Gjert Ingebrigtsen, Athletics | TV 2: Gjert Ingebrigtsen decision on Monday

--

This is reported by TV 2.

In February, it became known that Gjert Ingebrigtsen had been charged with one case of violence. The charge concerns a breach of the Penal Code’s mildest section on violence, section 271, which has a maximum penalty of one year in prison.

Ingebrigtsen’s defender, lawyer John Christian Elden, has previously stated that his client denies criminal guilt.

There are to be two reports against Ingebrigtsen, but for now only one of these has been charged. It was done before the New Year.

All seven of Ingebrigtsen’s children have the status of offended.

Elden confirmed to Nettavisen in February that Ingebrigtsen has been charged with one case of bodily harm for having thrown a towel at one victim. According to the lawyer, Ingebrigtsen risks a fine.

TV 2 writes on Sunday that Narve Gilje Nordås and Per Svela have been in for questioning. According to the channel, it must have happened at the request of Gjert Ingebrigtsen’s lawyers.

It was in October that the three sons Henrik, Filip and Jakob went out in VG with a column in which they accused their father of having used physical violence and threats against them in their upbringing while they were growing up.

In the wake of this, it became known that the case was to be investigated by the police.

Gjert Ingebrigtsen, for his part, has strongly rejected the allegations throughout.
