Olset Hovda makes a TV comeback during the Paris Olympics

Former NRK presenter Carina Olset Hovda will lead the evening broadcasts on TVNorge and Max during the Olympics in Paris this summer.

– It will be really fun to return to the screen with the Olympics in Paris. I know Carsten from before and am really looking forward to broadcasting with him, says Olset Hovda.

She brings Discovery profile Carsten Skjelbreid into the studio. The broadcasts will cover the Olympic exercises on the respective days, and they will include both experts and guests in the studio.

– The very best thing about the Olympics is working with something that so many people get involved with and care about. It will be great to experience again, says Olset Hovda.

Olset Hovda previously worked as a journalist and presenter for NRK, and has worked as a PR consultant in recent years.

– We are very pleased to have had Carina on the team during the Olympics. She has extensive experience as a sports journalist and presenter, and we have absolute faith that she and Carsten will be a very good duo to guide the Norwegian people through this summer’s Olympics, says the Nordic sports director at Warner Bros. Discovery and acting sports director for Norway, Antti Haajanen.

The Olympic Games in Paris run between 26 July and 11 August.
