According to the Sky Sports reporter, it will cost Liverpool around nine million pounds to buy Slot out of his current contract.

He writes on X that Slot is now Liverpool’s first choice in the search for a replacement for Jürgen Klopp.

The Reds should be very keen to show Feyenoord respect in the way they proceed, according to Ornstein, considering that the Dutch top club is still in season.

Ornstein also points out that Slot is very interested in taking over as manager at the Anfield club.

There will still be other relevant candidates, but Slot is currently a priority for the management at Liverpool, writes the journalist.
