This is what the Skiforbundet writes in a press release on Wednesday.
– I have been clear, also in the media, when it comes to my perception of the Ski Association’s handling of this process. Trust has been severely tested, but I still feel that there is now a real will to find solutions, says Aleksander Aamodt Kilde in the press release.
He continues:
– NSF has recently participated in constructive dialogues with us, and there has been a mutual recognition regarding the necessity of revising the national team agreement. This is, among other things, a result of the athletes’ objections and the associated recommendations from the law committees, says Kilde.
Secretary General Arne Baumann is pleased that Kilde is joining:
– It is crucial for us that an athlete from alpine skiing is on the selection, and with his clear voice and strong position, I am happy that Aleksander has now agreed to contribute to this important work.
