YMCA Oslo-HamKam 1–1

Moses Mawa sent HamKam into the lead with a lob after twelve minutes against newly promoted YMCA Oslo. The HamKam striker seemed for a long time to be the hero against his former club, but Petter Nosa Dahl wanted it differently with his equalizer just before the end.

The 20-year-old was bought by Bodø/Glimt last year, but the winger got little playing time in the north. This winter he was loaned back to the YMCA.

– It was really nice to get that goal. It was six long months in Bodø and it’s nice to play football again, he tells TV2 after the match.

He is delighted to be back in the capital.

– It was only a matter of time before I got the chance to show myself. There is more competition in Bodø, but it is nice to be back. It was a long six months and it’s nice to disprove some people.

The small Oslo club from Ekeberg sensationally moved up to the Eliteserien before this season, but had a tough start against the Hamar team at their temporary home ground Intility Arena when Mawa sent the visitors into the lead.

But it was not about the chances for the YMCA.

Just over 20 minutes before the end, the team lined up one huge chance after another.

Substitute Mame Mor Ndiaye and winger Petter Nosa Dahl both had great chances which incredibly did not go between the posts.

The latter’s opportunity was averted on the line by a HamKam player who put the ball in his own post before it rolled out. Then TV 2 expert Yaw Amankwah could hardly believe what he saw.

– Have you seen, he said after one of YMCA’s eventually many great misused chances.

– Absolutely incredible, commentator Peder Mørtvedt followed up.

Just before the end, however, YMCA scored when Nosa Dahl beautifully placed the ball in the far corner behind Marcus Sandberg and ensured one point for each of the teams.

– With the chances they produced, it would be terrible if they had to stand empty-handed again, said TV 2’s commentator after the match.
