It is Avinor who reports this on its website at 06.46.

– Due to a technical error at the Oslo Control Center, the airspace over southern Norway is temporarily closed. Significant delays are expected. Duration is currently unknown. We encourage all travelers to refer to the information they receive from their airline. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes, they write.

According to Torp’s website, the first flights took off at 6am on Thursday morning as planned, before the airspace was closed. As a result, traffic on Torp is also affected by the problems.

A planned arrival from Warsaw is currently on its way back to Poland’s capital. The plane made a turn southeast of Gothenburg.

– We are also affected by this. No aircraft are currently allowed to take off. We have several planes with passengers on board that are ready for departure, but they have to wait. There are communication problems at Røyken. We currently do not know how long this will take, writes traffic development and communications manager Tine Kleive-Mathisen in an SMS to SB just before 07.30.

– It is impossible to say how long this will last, says communications manager at Avinor Cathrine Framholt to VG.

We update the case!
