The board of Agder Gruppen has submitted a tender request to the Agder district court.

– Recently, an intense process has been going on around possible solutions to save the group, writes the board of Agder Gruppen in a press release on Wednesday evening.
According to Fædrelandsvennen, there have been tough negotiations between the group and the lenders in recent days.
– Unfortunately, during the process, it has become clear that the scale of the challenges is clearly greater than originally thought, so that a rescue operation was not possible. The board thus had no other choice but to request a tender. This is regretted in the strongest terms to all involved, the group writes further.
The group sells and hires machinery and equipment for the construction industry. They have over 200 employees and are based in 13 locations in Norway and Sweden.
In 2022, the result before tax ended at over NOK 52 million, according to the annual accounts. The income amounted to a total of NOK 1.56 billion. The accounts for 2023 are not yet available.
The head office is located in Kristiansand.
