There will be a change of weather in southern Norway after several days of cold air from the north. Until next week, warm air from the south will be able to create temperatures above 20 degrees.

– I guess we never promise anything, but it looks promising. At least we’ll get different temperatures than those we’ve had this week. It’s probably 20 degrees in some places, says state meteorologist Marit Berger to VG.

High pressure and low pressure will switch places after cold air from the north has affected the temperatures in southern Norway in recent days. The turn of the month to May next week will be able to offer close to summer temperatures in several places in the country.

– The location of high pressure and low pressure pulls warmer air upwards from the continent. In terms of weather, it looks changeable and there is a possibility of some precipitation. Smaller clouds lead to higher temperatures, says Berger.

Can be double digits in the North

– The northerners will probably have to wait a bit for the heat in the north, says the meteorologist, but claims that in Tromsø there could be double-digit degrees if they are lucky.
