Weather forecast, Long-term forecast | Foretells warmer and wetter weather

– The mean temperature in Bodø is on average 1.6 degrees on 1 April and 5.3 degrees at the end of the month. It is therefore no great surprise that there will be spring-like temperatures ahead, says meteorologist on duty at the weather forecast in Tromsø, Jon Austerheim.

The average temperature in Bodø throughout April is 3.4 degrees.

Now it will by no means be shockingly hot with sudden spring in the next few weeks. The shift comes on Sunday when a low pressure from the south moves in over the country. With easterly winds and wet precipitation, mostly over inland areas. The fact that the temperature will move from zero to three degrees during the day will hardly give any feeling of spring.

Until April 12, the temperature will not exceed five degrees, but from there until April 21, the daytime temperature will very likely climb above five degrees.

Throughout the period there is a risk of night frost, but clearly decreasing towards the end of the period where the probability falls to 50/50. The bright red field in the temperature graph is the most likely temperature range on the day in question. The more compact the red fields are, the less temperature variation throughout the day.

An extended shaded field indicates greater uncertainty. During the weekend and until April 12, there is a high probability of precipitation falling to approx. 50/50 for the rest of the period.

On Tuesday, it will be nice, cold weather in Bodø.

– On Wednesday, there will be a number of snow showers down the coast which will also hit Bodø. There will be changing cloud cover. Especially on Thursday, but also on Friday, the weather will be nice. On Saturday, a low pressure will come in from the south which will affect the weather over the weekend with precipitation that will be wet over Sunday, says meteorologist on duty, Jon Austerheim.
