THE DRAMA: The weather forecast for Drammen shows a rare yo-yo weather. After a couple of days of sunshine and a double-digit number of heat degrees on the eve of Easter, it was perhaps reasonable to assume that spring had finally arrived when we now write April.
But not then. As if the winter hadn’t been long enough already, the temperatures in the next few days drop drastically, in fact all the way down to minus three degrees – and bring with them around ten centimeters of snow on Thursday and Friday – enough that at this time of year we can sense the contours of a danger warning. In other words, it can be fatal if you have changed to summer tires on your car.
Fortunately, winter’s comeback will not be a long one, because towards the end of the weekend the temperatures rise again significantly, and the weather gods deliver what in many ways resembles a repeat of the 1st and 2nd of Easter – sun and 14 degrees, according to recent forecasts from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute.
