At the end of February, even more divorce rumors began to abound around the princely family in Monaco.
Several media, including French Voici, reported that Prince Albert’s niece, Charlotte Casiraghi (37) was to divorce her husband Dimitri Rassam (42) after four years as husband and wife.
Separated after four years
Now it seems that Prince Albert’s niece has gotten over her ex-husband – she has been observed with a new man.
According to Hello Magazine, Casiraghi has been photographed together with the French writer Nicolas Mathieu (45).
The magazine refers to Mathieu as the 37-year-old’s new flame, and writes that they will have each other’s company again.
Casiraghi and her now alleged ex-husband Rassam are said to have last been photographed together in October last year, during an anniversary dinner at the opera in Monte Carlo.
Struck by new family tragedy
Since then, the former has appeared without her husband in several different contexts, including at Monaco’s National Day celebrations in November last year.
It was back in 2019 that Casiraghi and Rassam got married, with a total of two weddings.
The 37-year-old reportedly filed for divorce in December last year, after they “went through a crisis” due to her husband’s busy schedule, writes the French website.
Found back to each other?
– Charlotte prefers Monaco, where her children go to school. But Dimitri’s work requires him to be in Los Angeles, Paris and elsewhere, a source told People.
Casiraghi and Rassam have a son Balthazar (5) together. She also has a son Raphael (10) from a previous marriage to Gad Elmaleh (52).
The couple has not commented on the divorce rumours.
