Popular podcast host Alex Cooper and film producer Matt Kaplan were married earlier this month in a romantic beach ceremony in Mexico’s Riviera Maya. That’s what Vogue writes.
– It turned out exactly how we wanted it, Cooper tells Vogue, adding that the wedding was emotional and heartfelt, and that they had adapted it exactly as they had imagined.
Cooper’s podcast has over six million followers on social media combined, and she herself has almost three million followers on Instagram.
Kaplan says that he took the lead in planning the wedding, and that the couple knew exactly what they wanted for their special day.
– We did not want a formal wedding. We wanted it to feel relaxed and authentic to us and the place, so everything from the decorations to the festivities was carefully selected, he says.
– We wanted to choose a destination that was private, romantic and felt like a holiday for not only us, but all our guests. It was really important to us to keep the guest list small so that we could be present with each other and the people we love the most, and who have helped us become who we are today, adds Cooper.
Cooper chose a custom-made dress from Danielle Frankel.
– The dress really became my dream dress. I felt so classic and “chic” in it. I felt confident and sexy, while being elegant and timeless, she says.
