That’s why Nicola Peltz dropped the 50th birthday celebration of mother-in-law Victoria Beckham

Last week, the stage was set for Victoria Beckham’s grand 50th birthday celebration. at the private members-only nightclub Oswald in London.

Several famous guests such as Eva Longoria (49), Gordon Ramsay (57) and Tom Cruise (61) appeared to celebrate the fashion icon. Former Spice Girls members, as well as the family, were also present, but there was still someone who shone with their absence.

The eldest son Brooklyn Beckham (25) arrived without his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham (29), which made many people wonder. Now it emerges why she was absent from her mother-in-law’s celebration.

Peltz revealed on Instagram’s story feature that she ditched the celebration to spend quality time with her grandmother. There she also posted a picture of herself giving her a big hug with the text: “My world in my arms”.

The 29-year-old further wrote that she wished she could join the celebration with her in-laws, according to People.

“I’m so sorry I’m not there to celebrate you and hug you! Sending all my love from me and Naunni,” she wrote to Victoria followed by a heart emoji, adding that she missed everyone.

Despite the fact that the rich man’s daughter did not attend, it seems that the atmosphere is only good between her and her mother-in-law.

On Beckham’s 50th birthday itself, Peltz also took the opportunity to pay tribute to her in a separate post.

“Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham I love you so much and love to be your dance partner forever,” she wrote, prompting a reply from Beckham who responded with: “I love you too.”

Since the wedding of Beckham’s eldest son and Peltz, which took place in April 2022, rumors abounded that there was a chilly atmosphere between the latter and his mother-in-law.

Among other things, the fans pointed out that the two had stopped sharing and commenting on photos of each other on social media – something they apparently did a lot of in the past.
