Swedish Charlotte Perrelli (49) has achieved great success as an artist, after she won the international final in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999.

The criticism is hailing

But the 49-year-old has not only stuck to music. She has also tried her hand as a blogger, and has gradually taken the step closer and closer to a life as an influencer.

Perrelli has decided to shut down the blog, which she first reveals in a post on Instagram.

“Blogging has been rewarding. For many years we had wonderful communication, but recently there has been a lot of negativity,” she says honestly.

– Red spots all over the body

The artist first started blogging in 2008, and quickly had over 100,000 unique readers per day.

This is no longer the case, and the artist therefore throws in the towel and says thank you and goodbye to life as a blogger.

“Before then Instagram and Snapchat didn’t exist, so the reality was different. Now everything looks different and the numbers are no longer what they once were.”

As mentioned, Perrelli, then Nilsson, won Eurovision in 1999 with the song “Take Me To Your Heaven”. Later, she tried out several times in the Swedish Melodifestivalen, and represented the country most recently in 2008 with “Hero”.
