Erik ten Hag has been linked to the Bayern Munich job since before the weekend, and BILD journalist Christian Falk has been among the journalists who have written about it.
Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg has also reported Ten Hag interest from Bavaria.
Falk mentioned the Ten Hag interest most recently https://twitter.com/cfbayern/status/1787841217868251184 (when Ten Hag, Roberto De Zerbi and Hansi Flick were mentioned as candidates before he suddenly announced on Tuesday evening that Ten Hag is no longer a candidate to take over from Tuchel.
Max Eberl is said to have been in contact with Ten Hag’s representatives, but the talks will not continue, writes Falk.
ESPN reported on Monday that Bayern have been told that Ten Hag’s preference will be to remain at Manchester United – without there being any automaticity that Bayern’s interest would stop for that reason. Now it is reported from BILD that Ten Hag not longer is a candidate.
