Russian attacks in several places: – Powerful explosions

– Last night the Russian occupiers carried out another massive attack on Ukraine using various types of cruise missiles. Information about this attack is being clarified, Ukraine’s defense writes on Telegram around 06.30 on Saturday morning.

Ukraine is said to have shot down 21 out of 34 of the Russian missiles, writes Chief of the Air Force in Ukraine, Mykola Oleschuk on Telegram.

A Ukrainian drone attack has hit two oil refineries Slavyansk and Ilskij in the Russian region of Krasnodar on Saturday, according to Ukrainian intelligence sources, Reuters writes.

The drone attack also hit Kushchevsk military airport.

The Ukrainian air force’s Telegram account was peppered with warnings of incoming attacks in the early hours of Saturday.

In Poltava, where VG is located on Saturday morning, the flight alarm also went off last night. It has been expected that the Russians will intensify their attacks against Ukrainian infrastructure, while Ukraine is waiting for the recently approved aid from the West.

In Kharkiv, a hospital was damaged and one person injured in a rocket attack.

– Residents of Kharkiv heard two powerful explosions last night. One of the districts in the city was attacked by the Russian military, the local police write on Facebook.

They write that a building where 60 patients were located was damaged, and that the patients have been transferred to other buildings.

The news agency Reuters has published pictures from the hospital, where people seek refuge during the attack in the morning hours. Outside the hospital building is a large crater.

According to Ukraine’s energy minister, Russia has attacked infrastructure in three different regions on the night of Saturday. According to Reuters, equipment must be damaged.

The state-run Russian news agency Ria also reports on Russian attacks against Ukraine on the night of Saturday, and writes that there have been explosions in the city of Stry in the Lviv region, as well as in the regions of Zhytomyr and Ternopil.

They also report explosions in Dnepropetrovsk in eastern Ukraine.

An ongoing attack in Kherson has also been reported.

Poland: – New wave of airstrikes

The Polish defense states that they have implemented several measures as a result of the attacks early on Saturday morning.

– All the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of our airspace have been initiated, they add.

Just before 07:00 they write that the threat has been reduced and that they have ended the operation.

Feared offensive – evacuated hospitals

The authorities in Ukraine have said in recent days that the Russians have stepped up attacks against the railways in the country to prevent military supplies and movements ahead of a Russian offensive.

Ukrainian attack on oil refineries

There have also been reports of a Ukrainian attack in Russia on the night of Saturday.

Governor Veniamin Kondratyev of Krasnodar Krai writes on Telegram that they have shot down over ten Ukrainian drones, and that fire crews are working to put down flames in several places.

– They tried to attack oil refineries and infrastructure, he writes.

No one was injured in the attack, according to the governor.
