The former “Page 3” (simply dressed page in a tabloid newspaper, journ.anm.) model Angela Jay (71) has died. That’s what The Sun writes.
Jay died on Sunday, shortly after being diagnosed with lung cancer, in hospital in England.
That is why NRK made changes
Her husband, former The Sun photographer Ken (79), was by her side when she passed away.
To The Sun, he describes his wife as the “perfect girl next door”, and “a miner’s daughter, who dared to dream”.
Jay is said to have been born in Sunderland, but when she was discovered by a modeling agency, she immediately moved to Manchester.
According to the grieving husband, she must have been a natural talent in her profession, and where other models spent hours getting ready, Jay was always ready straight away.
Angela Jay is best known as the “Page 3” girl, and was a pioneer in the industry in the 80s. She was also the face of underwear brand Gossard, working with boxer Henry Cooper and the brand Brut Aftershave.
