Who killed a woman in the center of Arendal on Tuesday morning is currently a mystery to the police. They have no control over the perpetrator.
On Tuesday, a woman was killed in the center of Arendal, the woman was working at a pharmacy in the city.
It was around 9.30 on Tuesday that the police and ambulance went to Boots Pharmacy in the center of Arendal following a report of an injured woman who died a short time later, according to NTB.
The police cordoned off a larger area around the pharmacy on the corner of Friholmsgaten and Tollbodgaten. They were clear that it was very unclear what had happened.
– The police investigation and the preliminary autopsy report indicate that the woman has been killed, says police prosecutor Vanja Bruvoll in the Agder police district in a press release on Wednesday.
Now the police are trying to find a perpetrator, but so far there is no trace. For the time being, we are groping blindly.
– We have very little basis to say anything about the perpetrator, says chief of staff Vidar Arnesen at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

The police have very little information about who the killer is. They ask the public to be vigilant and have a low threshold for notifying the police.
The case is shrouded in secrecy, also from the police side, as the agency has gradually become accustomed to.
The police will therefore not elaborate on what kind of injuries the murdered woman had. She has been sent for an autopsy in Oslo, where a preliminary report will give the police some answers.
The police have secured video material from the scene, but say the material is difficult to review. Nor will they say anything about whether the incident itself was captured on video.
