If we are to continue to have a good school offer in the future, which ensures predictability so that companies get the skills they need, we need a flexible education system throughout the interior.
This could mean, for example, taking a vocational certificate while you are in business. In this way, the school can also become more practical and varied – and ensure motivation and implementation. Or it could mean online school, where you also ensure a social community.
At the same time, it is also necessary to tighten up today’s offer. Now, too many students are being trained for skills that the working world does not demand, and too many drop out before they get into working life.
The educational offer must therefore be rigged so that our children get an education that society needs – where they experience a sense of mastery and motivation.
We must do that work together. For the good of the Inland community and our children.
