Moen will now be responsible for video refereeing in Norway.

I give up as referee on the field a little earlier than I had thought, but there is a time for everything, says Moen in the press release.
The 45-year-old talks about good processes with head referee Terje Hauge, the NFF and his family.
– I hope I can become a good resource in the judging group and look forward to working with both the administration and the judges, says Moen.
Terje Hauge is happy that Moen accepted the position. He believes Moen has been among Norway’s best judges for a number of years.
– Fortunately, we get to utilize all his experience in the role of VAR manager. I am glad that he accepted the new position. He knows both VAR, the refereeing profession and the refereeing environment well, says Hauge – he continues:
– The fact that he has experience both as a referee in the VAR room and as a main referee with VAR as an aid, gives him good prerequisites to do a solid job, he continues.
Moen refereed his first match at the top level in 2003. In the period from 2005 to 2020, he was an international referee, with, among other things, World Cup, Champions League matches and semi-finals in the Europa League on his CV.
