The shooting at Bryn in Oslo: Two new arrests

Two men in their late teens have already been remanded in custody, charged with complicity in attempted murder.

On Monday 15 April, a young man in his late teens was found shot inside a business premises in Tvetenveien on Bryn in Oslo.

According to the police, the man was shot in a hair salon.

On Thursday morning, two more people were arrested in the case, the police said in a press release.

  • One of the accused is a minor. He is charged with attempted murder.
  • The other accused is in his late teens and is charged with complicity in attempted murder.

The police state that both are Norwegian citizens and knew them from before.

They will be tried to be questioned on Thursday. Whether there are grounds for detention will probably only be assessed on Friday.

As of 11.30, none of the new defendants have been appointed defenders.

VG has previously spoken to several people who work for other companies in the commercial building. They are shocked after the incident.

– As the case appears, it seems that it has a background in a longer line of conflict in the criminal youth environment in Eastern Norway, said police attorney Rådal after the prison meeting Wednesday.

For the police, the incident appears to be a settlement between people who know each other.

The other two teenagers, who are already in custody, deny guilt, but have linked themselves to the act.
